Enjoy the harbour and the lake, dip your paddle or just get wet

Fish Lake Huron or the surrounding inland Lakes.
Swim at your cottage door step or at Fox Den Beach with its floating raft or one of the smaller private beaches on the islands shores
Sun bathe on the two main beaches or at the private swimming holes on the two islands

Participate with the children playing in the sand
Canoe, kayak or row a boat around the islands, observe the shoreline, admire different rock formations and discover those sandy beaches

Nature and Outdoor Activities

Plan your adventure on the islands enjoy the outdoors, and nature

Ride bicycles around the islands, or into Town ( complimentary bicycles available) - for cycling into town please bring your own helmet- it’s the law
Visit the fox dens
Go for nature walks on the islands and its trails, look for wildlife ( deer, rabbits, beaver, muskrat, mink, foxes, etc )
Go for a nature walk or kayak and look for the islands birds ( blue heron, eagle, osprey, woodpeckers, ravens, etc )
Play badminton, or bocce balls ( available to guests for their enjoyment )
Enjoy the autumn colour changes
Photograph flora, fauna, sunrises, sunsets, the beautiful scenery, freighter activity, and your many memorable moments

Just Relax - Activities

Enjoy the silence, listen to nature’s sounds and the lapping waves

Sit around the bonfire, roast marshmallows, strum your guitar , have a sing along
Star gaze and look for the Big and Small Dippers, Venus, Orion,the constellations or falling stars
Just relax and read a book on the bluffs overlooking the channel – bring your own favourite book or visit our library in the Recreational Lounge
Write a journal
