The ice is disappearing. The wind is blowing the ice up onto the shoreline and the McKay Reef looks like an iceberg. All of the ice had disappeared by Sunday, Apr26,2009 at around 7:00 pm. The waves of Lake Huron are now lapping against the bluffs. You can see the photo of the ice berg in Lake Huron in our Lighthouse Photo Gallery.
