French Island is a well forested, 22-acre island with nature trails and paths.  The cottages are located on this island.  

McKay Island, with its southern bluffs, has 15 acres to roam and explore and is host to the lighthouse and the banquet facilities.

Both Islands have been enjoyed by families and nature lovers.  Having been discovered by artists, their scenery is now on canvas throughout the area.

There is excellent fishing in the natural harbour and in the channel with pike, perch, whitefish, lake trout and salmon.   Bruce Mines is surrounded by many inland lakes and trout streams for fishermen.

Complimentary boats, canoes and bicycles are available for our guests' enjoyment.
