Elope at the Lighthouse Lounge at Bruce Bay Cottages & Lighthouse a secluded romantic venue in a small historic Town in Northern Ontario. The Lighthouse Lounge offers ambiance and atmosphere in a relaxed setting perfect for a private wedding. Let us assist you with the planning of your wedding.
Escape to Nature to say ” I DO “
A unique memorable ceremony at the location of your choice .
Outdoors: on a bluff overlooking majestic Lake Huron, on the deck with the lapping waves nearby, on the lawn by the lighthouse, on one of the beaches,or on a pontoon boat on Bruce Bay
Indoors: by the massive puddingstone fireplace in the Lighthouse Lounge, in one of the local churches.
Ceremony
- We will arrange for a officiant to perform the ceremony
- We can arrange for witnesses or you can include your own special witnesses
- Wedding ceremony co-ordination freely provided to deal with all the arrangements, flowers, cake, decorations, music, and photographer
Reception
Your reception can be as elegant or as casual as you wish:
We can arrange a candlelit dinner or lunch for 2 to 4 in the Lighthouse Lounge
A picnic basket packed with food and beverage items “to go”
Get married in the morning, spend the day, just relaxing at your cabin and exploring the islands and nature
It’s your special day, tell us your vision and we will arrange it for you
Honeymoon:
You can spend all or part of your honeymoon at Bruce Bay Cottages & Lighthouse Resort. Choose your accommodations, and ask for our Romantic Getaway Package. Your accommodations are not included in the Let’s Elope Package.
Rates for Let’s Elope Package:
Our rates allow you to customize your special day within your budget
Ceremony Location only: $250.00
Officiant : $400.00 +
Lighthouse Lounge $ 350.00 This fee applies only if you have a reception to follow
Wedding Coordinator: No charge included in the Let’s Elope Package
Not included in this package: Flowers, special decorations, live music, photographer, spa treatments, accommodations or food services and cake (not an all-inclusive list)
Legal Facts:
To get married in Ontario you must obtain a marriage license from any Municipal Office. A license is valid for use anywhere in Ontario within three months of the date of issue. An application form must be completed and signed by both parties. For information on what you will need and the criteria visit the Ontario Service Website.
